To use Blackboard your computer will need to have some software and plugins installed. If you are accessing Blackboard from a UQ student lab, then all of the necessary software should already be installed, but to access from home you may need to install some of the following software.

AskIT and UQConnect both supply CDs containing all necessary software and plugins, including various browsers, Acrobat Reader, Qucktime and Flash viewers and Microsoft software viewers.

Alternatively, all of this software is available as a free download from http://www.its.uq.edu.au/helpdesk/downloads/. The only cost to you is the Bandwidth time to download the software.
